Creating magical moments and forging meaningful relationships enrich both our personal and professional lives and lead to innovations in both business and creativity. I am presenting a live performance of “It Feels Like a Mountain, Chasing Me” for solo piano written for me by Emmy-winning composer Daniel Bernard Roumain (DBR), which deals with themes of childhood, family, and immigration. Using this performance as an example, I share how we can become better listeners and connect more deeply with one another through vulnerability and authentic communication.
